Pancake Breakfast

PRESQUE ISLE LODGE @ 8:00 - 10:30AM

The annual all-you-can-eat breakfast of blueberry
and regular pancakes, sausage, orange juice, coffee and milk will be ready to serve at the Presque Isle Lodge. Come on back again to enjoy a fabulous breakfast and the beginning of another great season. Breakfast
charge is $8.00 for adults, $3.00 for children. For more details or to volunteer, contact Mike Rice at (989) 595-2699. He needs a crew of 15
volunteers to produce another well-organized and successful event.


Pie and Game Night

PRESQUE ISLE LODGE @ 7:00 PM
If you haven't been to the pie and game night yet, you're missing out on a delightful and enjoyable evening. In memory of Lol Rouleau, the event
kicks off with card or board games that you can bring along to play with your friends or family. At 8:00 P.M., all the pies that have been donated will be served to the guests. We kindly request that you bring a pie to share or make a monetary donation. We always have a fantastic variety of delicious pies to choose from. The event will take place at Presque Isle Lodge at 7:00 P.M. Whether you win or lose your game, you'll be rewarded with a vast array of pies and desserts, served with coffee and

Ice Cream Social & Taste of Grand Lake

HOMESTEAD PARK @ 6:00 - 7:30PM
Remember - delicious ice cream with a variety of toppings is nutritious and represents summertime! The price of the healthy serving is $3.00 per person. This will be the third year for Taste of Grand Lake. Tasty homemade baked goods donated by members are raffled off. Selection includes pies, breads, cakes, cookies and more! Tables and chairs will be set up on the park lawn for your seating comfort. If you wish to volunteer

Cornhole Tournament

The cornhole tournament was pretty popular last year so we’re doing it again. Even if you’ve never played cornhole, grab a partner and head over to Homestead Park! Bring your own food and drink. Limited to the

Grand Lake Sailing Regattas

GRAND ISLAND SOUTH END @ 1:30PM
Sailboats of all types gather at the south end of Grand Island at 1:30 PM. You’ll race counter-clockwise around Grand Island, one lap, with the
finish line at the south end of the channel between Grand Island and the mainland. For more details contact Dennis Norton at (734) 395-4901.


Garage Sale Days

The GLA has been hosting this event for 32 years. When you register, your address is included on the map. If you wish to participate and are not a GLA member, a $10 donation (or a single membership) is
requested to help defer the cost of advertising. Call Jeff Duly at (989) 884-1859 to sign up. Maps are available after 5:00 pm Thursday evening at the Birch Hill Store, the Portage Store, Sand Bay Trading Co., the Grand Lake Library and PI Harbor Association Clubhouse.


Arts and Crafts on the Green

HOMESTEAD PARK @ 10:00 - 4:00PM

Deb Burr has chaired this event for many years on the Homestead Grounds and Chapel Green. This year she will have help from Meaghan Duly, Nancy Paul, and Janet Straley. This is always an enjoyable event for all the visitors to our area. Dozens of vendors will be showing their handmade wares at Homestead Park and Chapel Green. 





9th Annual Poker Run

GRAND LAKE @ 5:00 - 7:00PM
Don’t miss out on this fun! You and your friends will take your boat to 7 assigned docks where you will receive a poker card, sealed in an envelope from a “dock sitter.” This will take place over two hours. Maps to the docks will be available at the PIHA clubhouse between 2 and 4:00PM on the day of the event. Pick up your cards from the seven docks between 5 and 7:00 PM. Join us at the Presque Isle Harbor Clubhouse at 7:30PM for food, refreshments and prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd highest poker hands. Pre-registration begins June 1st. Call Russ Kauffman at (989) 595-6056 to register. The cost is $15 per person attending and there is a limit of 23 boats.


GLA Member Appreciation Picnic

All of the GLA Events throughout the year would not happen without the many volunteers. Last year we showed our appreciation with a pizza
and wing party at the Grand Lake Pavilion. We may do the same thing
again this year. We want you to show up and thank them.
